Google podcast

In 2023, Google announced that YouTube Music users in the US could trial podcasts on the platform. Now the company has announced that it will completely shut down Google Podcasts in 2024. Content creators will be forced to switch to the new service.

For users, it means a simple migration tool and the ability to add podcast RSS feeds to their YouTube Music library, including shows not currently hosted by YouTube.”

The move will see Google join Spotify and Amazon Music β€” two established music streaming services offering millions of songs and podcasts β€” for a slice of the market.
